Day 106,107 and 108 : 3 months anniversary, climbing mount Takao and BBQ at Uni

Friday 22th of May

At school I bought some gifts for my sister and my nephew. I think I'm going to buy some more before sending, so I can fill the whole box~ It's always fun to buy stuff and give away :)

Today was my 3 months anniversary with Jimmy. We didn't really do much this time, we just relaxed at home :) <3 I got flowers, a poster and a wooden basket (not in the picture) and I gave Jimmy a shortcake slice (one for me too of course), a letter and a picture from my Instax camera. We then watched some Supernatural~
So yummy!
Saturday 23th of May

Today I climbed Takao-san!

Mount Takao (高尾山 Takao-san?) is a mountain in the city of HachiōjiTokyoJapan. It is protected within Meiji no Mori Takao Quasi-National Park.
Standing 599 metres (1,965 ft) tall and located within an hour of downtown Tokyo, it is a popular hiking spot, with eight hiking courses and more than 2.5 million annual visitors. The Tama Forest Science Garden is also located at the mountain's base.
Mount Takao is closely associated with tengu, minor kami from Japanese folklore, and the daitengu Naigubu. A Buddhist temple, Takaosan Yakuōin Yūkiji, is located on the mountain.
We went as a group of almost 20 people from the house. I think almost all of the Japanese people that joined got together at 07:00 to make lunch!

Jimmy and I made chicken sandwich which was very good ^_^ Around 09:30 we left the house and took the train to the mountain.

Leaving the house:
 On our way~
Arrived at the station:

Everybody loves my sunglasses!

 ...Yes

STOP!

Jimmy thinks everyone's "flex game" is pretty weak...

Jimmy and I were buying Cola at this vending machine, and we got the name "Kazuki"! So of course we had to buy that one to our friend Kazuki! What's the odds!? And I anybody is courious, my name is Hinata and Jimmy is Haruto!

 ...Yes...Again...

Jimmy didn't like my idea to climb the tree that's leaning over the edge...

So here is a different picture of where we went~
We then had a dinner party at the house around 20:00. Everyone made food and then we shared at the table, it was a lot of good food! Some people made dessert and bought fruit!

I made yakuniku, rice and grilled corn on the cob:
My plate, I took a little of almost everything~
A litle selfie with Penny and Mao
After dinner, Penny, Tanuki, Jimmy, Shota and I went on a mystery quest to find the "scary" Buddha (according to Tanuki). It turned out to not be as scary as we were to believe it was... But it was nice getting some fresh air!

Sunday 24th of May

Today there was a BBQ at Uni organized by the HAND's group. I was the only one from the house going, but I didn't expect 99% to be Japanese freshmen! Haha! Only 3 exchange students were there, including me. I don't know if they weren't expecting so many people or something, but the were way too little food and only 3 small grills. I don't think anybody got full. I even know at least to people that went to eat dinner after the BBQ..

For me it was a very good Japanese exercise! I spoke almost only Japanese, and with many different people. Everybody met at 12:00, but the BBQ-grilling didn't start until after 13:00, so while waiting for food I was chatting a lot! I'm super tired in my brain! Haha. But all in all it was very nice and everyone was very kind :)
