Hello!
So today I only had Global Mindset for first period. I still find the course a little weird, because it's not very "set". It's a lot of talking about experience, culture and communication. But EVERYTHING is from your own and others perspective. There is no "facts" or "data" what so ever in this course. It's an interesting consept, but still very unfamiliar. Maybe it's just me not being used to this kind of class, or maybe it is indeed weird. But we did play cards today, which I though was funny. Especially was it funny that we could speak after everyine got the rules. But what we didn't know was that the different groups got different rules. So when we had to switch places (still no talking), we had to figure out what was going on because something was "wrong" in the card game. So it was interesting how you figure out how you communicate about the cards without talking! I did manage to know the "new" rule by using a "thumb up" and "thumb down" motion. It was only one in the group that understood what I was "asking" about, so it only took 10-15 seconds before I could play with the "new rules".
After class I took the train to Meidaimae to meet Penny, Manon and Shen. But I was a little early so I relaxed in the waiting room at the station. Quite randomly a japanese guy begins to talk to me. He asks about the ususal: where are you from, what are you doing here, etc. It turned out that he is fluent in english so we spoke in both japanese and english. He seemed like a very nice guy! I then a little later meet up with my friends, and we all (including the japanese guy) take the train to Shibuya. He worked there so we said our goodbyes but we added each other on Line. It always makes me a little unsure when random guys talk to me and want to add me on social medias. Do they really want to be friends? Hmm.. Either way: Penny, Menon, Shen and I were ready for shopping!
We also saw a pet store, and we all think it's terrible that they are kept in such small containers, separated from the others...
We also had to eat
I don't know how many hours we shopped, but we were TIRED! So much stuff~
We also met these sweet people
I have insane muscle ache from exercising, so poor Manon had to help me in the stairs! HAHAHA! Just like an old lady! We actually had plans to go out to eat korean BBQ, but we were too tired, and Shen wasn't feeling too good...
Here is todays catch. It's not showing too good, but I got one legging, one legging shorts, one normal shorts, workout pants, baggy fake "jeans", two dresses, one shirt, head eccessories, one t-shirt and two pairs of shoes. It wasn't until I took this picture that almost everything is grey and black! Hmm... Either it's black/grey or lolita, haha!
Tomorrow, Jimmy and I have been together for 2 months, which makes me feel so young. Haha, celebrating 2 months, it's like being a teenager again (and I'm talking like I'm 40...). So this time it's me who's going to plan the date ^_^ So I'll see what I can come up with~

Day 73 and 74: "To do-list" and School lunch!
Hello!
Sunday 19th of April
Do you know the feeling? You want a day just to be lazy and relax, but when you finally get it you feel quilty for not doing anything? Haha! That's what my stupid brain does to me :P Well, I actually got to do stuff I needed to do like; vaccum clean my room, wash my clothes, go grocery shopping, buy other stuff I need, exercise and do homework. Jimmy was busy making his own game for the Ludum Dare (http://ludumdare.com/compo/2015/04/15/welcome-to-ludum-dare-32/).
Monday 21st of April
I really hate having 08.50 class, because I have to get up at 06:30 the latest (because I'm so slow). My bus goes 07:55 from SeisekiSakuragaoka station and it takes 40 minutes to school. I prefer this over train because then I don't have to transfer. Today I had Japanese Language and Society and I really like this class! The teacher is nice and he has a lot of knowlegde. He mostly speaks during lecture so it's important to pay attention and write notes continuously. The good thing is that he repeats the important parts more than once. This way I feel I can take good notes while he talks.
From a list he choose a person to answer a question and I got called:
Teacher: "Miss Korneliussen"
Me: "Vicky is fine"
Teacher: "thank you"
He also said that even if he is a linguist (or works with linguistic) he still think names in other language are difficult to pronounce.
For the question part, I did answer it correctly. It was about one of the main reasons it's difficult to say how many dialects there are in Japan. We also had a tiny quiz today, but I think everyone got it right.
I had some stuff to do after class so I first had lunch at the school cafeteria, it was so cheap!
I later ordered the textbook for this class, because the final is an open book exam. And I was so lucky to get help with that~
I also looked up some books at the library for other classes, printet out some stuff at the computer center and then went home. Jimmy later came to visit ^_^

Day 71 and 72: Rafting, BBQ and Onsen
Hello!
Friday 17th of April
So today I had Sustainability Studies GEG (2. period) and Social Change in Japan (5.period). It's extremely boring to have such a huge gap between classes. Not only because it's a long time, but you get very tired. So even if you have homework to do/study you still get tired. In sustainability Studies we went through a lot of information and technical terms which I found quite hard. It's not too difficult when listening and reading, but when I have to answer a question it's a little more tricky. I actually told my teacher this after class, but she said I'm doing a good job :) I also asked if we could get the key words for next week's lecture so I can read up on the terms. She said it was a good idea and that she will do that from next week.
Almost everyone was tired for 5.period. Penny and I actually took a nap before class, but I didn't fall alseep though. Then we had, a somewhat, boring class. It may be because I don't have any backround information on the subject of Soscial Change in Japan. But we did get a printout to read for next class so maybe it will be more interesting~
After class a small group from the house went out to eat chinese food. Good taste, but way too expensive for the small portions, and dry duck D:
After eating I surprised Jimmy by visiting ^_^ Not like "on the door"-surprise, becuase I had to make sure he wasn't busy xD So we met in Shinjuku~

A little game where we have to catch the paddle when we either move left or right:
I don't have any pictures during the rafting yet! I hope to get them soon! We were 7 in one boat and the rafting lasted for 1-1.5 hours I thing :) It was a lot of fun! We splashed water on the other people in the boats, pushed each other in the water, stood up in the boat, aimed for the rocks, jumped from a 6 meter cliff!!! Oh yeah! It was awesome!

After the BBQ, we went to an onsen! It was sooooo relaxing~ It was very nice after being in the cold water and then being outside for the BBQ. We were at the onsen for about one hour before going home. Here's a picture from when we were done:
Coming home:
