Day 87,88 and 89: Study session in Yoyogi and Festival in Fuchu

Sunday 3rd of May

Since the weather was good, Jimmy and I went to Yoyogi park to study Japanese :) We bough lunch, brought our textbooks and had a good time <3

 We were not the only that though going to the park was a good idea ^_^

Around 17:00 we went back to Itabashi. We bought some dinner, and I came across this sweet pasteries:

While eating dinner, we watched several Supernatural episodes. Late at night we went for a long walk, which is very relaxing. Jimmy got a cold, so his nose is running non-stop. I pray I don't get it...

Monday 4th of May

After sleeping in, eating breakfast and watching Supernatural I went home. Jimmy is still sick so it's best to leave him be (for both of us, haha). When I got home I had recieved my package from Iherb. I ordered two packages of protein bars for when I do strenght workout. It's pretty neat because the package is deliviered at the house. There are individual mailboxes, but also big boxes for receiving and delivering. So you get a notification in your private mailbox about your item in the big mailbox (this time it was number 16). First you type in your room number, then your personal code that you got when you moved in. Then you just open up and grap your stuff! So neat! No need to go to the post office (unless it's super big!).

After working out and trying out the new protein bar, I studied some more Japanese, before watching anime and going to bed~

Tuesday 5th of May

Today I've been practicing conjunging verbs in Japanese. And it really is a pain in the ass... The short story; why can't all verbs be ru-verbs? (Those studying japanese, will understand..) Or maybe it's just me being slow... I really need to have this nailed, blah >:( Oh well, I'll just have to study more~ Either way, after studying Japanese for a while I took my bicycle out for a "run"

 On my way home I stopped by a convenien store, and saw this cuties (didn't buy them though)

 As I passed the station I met Manon on the way, and we later met up to go to the festival in Fuchu.

 In Fuchu we met up with Penny and Dave

 After watching the parade for a while we ate at the Mos Burger. Penny was lucky to get two burgers (for the price of one) because there were something wring with her order! Yay!

 It got dark very soon! At this point Dave went home before us, but Manon, Penny and I stayed a little longer

After going home we watched the Studio Ghibli movie:

Day 86: Japanese rollercoaster: 80 meters 130 km/h

Hello!

As I was on my way out to meet Jimmy in Shinjuku I locked myself outside... I was going to check the mail and I left my bag inside. "Very smart, so genius, much funny". The nice lady wasn't in the front desk, but I was lucky enough to see her in the garden. So she opened the door for me so I could get my bag~ I tried to call people at the house, but nobody answered xD Either way, I got to the train station, but for some reason only the local trains were going. But since I'm an expert, I switched trains in Chofu to a semi-special express to Shinjuku. Then I finally arrived, and I met up with Jimmy not many minutes later. First we went to buy some adapters for his dad (that is coming to Japan soon). Then we went to Suidobashi. And this time I was set to try the awesome rollercoaster!

Jimmy don't fancy rollercoaster so I took it alone, and it was awesome. It's called "Thunder Dolphin". My usual rollercoaster-buddy is my sweet ass-kicking big sister Marianne. We have a lot of experience with rollercoastes, and we are used to the slow painful ride up before the drop. You know, so you can reflect upon your poor life choices and regret what you're about to do. But this time! Oh boy, IT WENT FAST! FAST UPWARD! I didn't even have time to regret! And it didn't stop going, it just went up, and up, and up! I could see all of Tokyo! Balder in Liseberg (Sweden) is 36 meters, with a top speed of 90 km/h, this one is 80 METERS with a top speed of 130 km/h!!! Even so, I still enjoy Balder more because it tickles more in the stomach overall. But the first drop of the Thunder Dolphin was EPIC!

After the rollercoaster Jimmy bough tickets for a baseball match which he is going to see with his dad. Then we ate at TGI Friday:

We were supposed to study Japanese, but we ended up being out most of the day. When we came home we saw an episode of Supernatural, and after that I got very sick! I don't know what is was but luckly it went away after an hour or two...But yeah, not much Japanese today... 

Day 84 and 85: A new bike and Japanese Cinema!

Thursday 29th of April

So today I slept for sooooo long! I actually slept for so long that I got tired, haha. I read in my japanese grammar book and practiced some vocabulary. The time flew by and it was already time for dinner. I took the train to Suidobashi to meet Jimmy at his Uni. We then went to Watami to eat. After dinner I went home and cought up to the two latest episodes of Supernatural season 10. Only a few more episodes till season finaly! So exciting~~ 

Friday 1st of May

The last day before Golden Week! :D I had Sustainability Studies for 2. period, but forgot to read the reading assignment... Since I have 4,5 hours to spare until the Social change in Japan-class. My mentor was being awesome to show me around the Sport campus. I got to take a look at the timetable, when I can use the different parts. I can go whenever there is marked pink:

After the tour we went to Asahi bike store to buy a bike. And Since my mentor is the kindest mentor he bought the bike for me. I'll use it till I'm done at Uni and then he will continue to use it. I'm so lucky! Now I can take the bike to school without thinking about buying and selling! And he did it all on his day off! I couldn't thank him enough!

After Uni, I met up with cutie Anika to eat dinner and then go to see Cinderella in the cinema

I have never been to a Japanese cinema before, so I was very excited to see how it was! The entrance is very cosy and simple. 

In the far back you can buy candy, soda etc, and you can smell the delish caramel pop corn even before entering~ *drools*

 Then you order your ticket and select your seats. I didn't pay attention to if you can chose english on ht machine or not... 2 tickets for Cinderella coming up! It was 1100 yen per ticket.

 And this is the room. And the first thing that striked me was: IT'S SO CLEAN! Not a single pop corn were to be found (even after the movie). It was so nice! The movie was in english with japanese subtitles (thank god). The only annoying part was that the lights doesn't turn on during the credits, so you end up sitting there till the end. Of course you can go if you want, but I didn't wan to risk falling in the dark.

The movie was done 21:15 and I took the bike home. It took me about 40 minutes, because I was messing around campus on my search for the river. Once I found the river it's just following it straight to my house! It's so cool! It's almost no hills at all, so I'm looking forward to take the bike to Uni. I didn't understand how to turn on the lights on my bike so I rode in blind, haha. So dark! But I got home safe ^_^

Monday 27th of April

Had my Japanese Language and Society at 08:50 and one Japanese class at 10:30. I had forgotten about our homework for first class, but Manon was so kind to let me look at what she did ^_^ I don't think many actually understood the homework xD When we went through the homework in class not too many could answer the teachers questions. We have a test after Golden Week so I must not forget that one! In Japanese class we did the same as we always do: tasks in our print outs. The teacher says the example sentences, then we have to, in pair, do the 4-6 tasks about the topic. It's only talking and then we say it out load to the class. Repeat, repeat, repeat... We also have a test in Japanese after Golden Week so I have to study for that too!

I had actually forgotten my wallet at Jimmys place, but he was sooo sweet to take the train to my school to give it to me ^_^

Later I talked to my mom on skype. It was really nice becuase I havn't talked to her in a month! We talked for over an hour and I gave her a list over stuff I wanted her to send in the mail. An lucky me: she is sending it tomorrow! Yaaaay!!! I want to share norwegian food with the others in the house, so I'm looking forward to recieve the package. I just hope it won't take forever. 

Tuesday 28th of April

I'm the only one having morning classes on Tuesday, and I feel like the Global Mindset is not my thing. I don't feel like we learn anything scientific... Later Penny, Dave, Kazuki and I went to the  TMU International Center’s Study Abroad Forum. Many of the exchange students presented their collage in their hometown. I think all the information will be put on the TMU homepage. So if anyone of the Japanese students or other exchange students want to study abroad, they have many places to look; Norway, Germany, France, Australia, South Korea etc.  It was from 18:00-20:15, and 9 of us went to the Italian restaurant near the train station to eat. Then I took the train to Itabashi to meet Jimmy ^^ But on the Saikyo line, there were SO MANY PEOPLE!!! I got squished into the train, and couldn't move! At some point my leg as fricking braided into another person's leg. There were hands everywhere, and you don't know if people are groping you or not! And you can feel nasty old men's breath on your neck. A lady startet to cry, and I could feel myself crushing this cute and small japanese girl! I had to keep my hands on my private parts and twist around to avoid nasty hands and crotches! EWWWWW!!!! Next time Jimmy is meeting me in Shinjuku to at least I can be squished on him instead! 

Wednesday 29th of April

Soon it's going to be May! The weather is really good, and I hope it stays like this. I haven't done anything special today (because it's a day off). Jimmy and I have been watching supernatural, working out, going for two walks and doing a little homework :) And now it's superlate! So I'm going to cut it a little short! I'm sorry! I should use this blog a little better ^_^ But some days I really don't do a lot of things and sometimes I don't feel like spending time writing about it. On a complete different note: my sister is having a baby <3 I'm sooo happy :D
